xbox is sold. fixie is in motion

well the xbox went for about $100 more than i expected so i am pretty stoked. my big issue now is what to, or more to the point, how to spend the money wisely and efficiently for hugo. i am in many minds right now. new, old, now and later. i guess first is to get the cash from xbox then work backwards/forwards from there.

Mr Magoriums fixie bike

at work we have been back on the case creating toys for the kids. this is the latest engine adaption. it is a toy making machine so i just couldn't help myself. i had to make the preverbal fixie - of course with top bar pad.

deiko - so tempted

this bike is awesome. imagine riding it down the road. a serious head turner

little red bike

dave is creating a great little story about the little red bike. as for the images so far i think this is my favorite. the bike [to me] seems completely at home in this image. looking forward to the next round

show me the money

this dude says he spent only $700 on this bike. jesus christ. can i please have the money and i will give you my hugo with an amazing set up. $700 and how ugly is it anyway!... i think he meant $70?

it has been a little while but...

holidays do that to you. hugo is moving along... lol. no actually he is hanging up next to me.
Progess check:

bottom crank axle (that $10 bargin) - i think is bent - ffs.
tourney cranks are on... the above still needs to be confirmed
i will have to get to the bottom of the crank issue. right now it look like the crank arm is possibly bent - not the cranks or spider to the sprocket. i will need to pick up a socket to undo the crank bolt on fb so i can spin it on that and test for crank spider arm straightness.

stem has come up a treat after has been fully wirebrushed, 000 steelwooled and now polished. looks smick as. i am really appreciating the "old school" feel now. headset has been fully overhauled and re-greased. the lock nut is very pitted but again, personality is becoming very apparent

bars, chopped! to the bullhorn look. not a perfect job by any means. i am indecisive as to whether or not i should actually leave the bars chrome/pitted at the stem or black enamel spray then. i think the latter.
i know i will be wrapping them with some toshi black cloth
